So I've decided I need to put some wedding pictures up somewhere. I don't know if these will work, but we'll see.

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and we are so ready for it! I love the Holidays, the traditions, the lights, the music. the food, the snow, and especially the break from school. Luckily, I have the best husband and he knows how to keep me sane even without the holidays...

For example, last Tuesday, I had a long day at school. Because of work and rehearsal, I was at school from 5:45am to 8pm. While I was at rehearsal, Spencer was putting together a wonderful little surprise for me. At 8pm, he picked me up and drove me home. I asked him what he got to do that day and he mentioned that he had had time to go to the gym and go grocery shopping (a relief for me since we hadn't been in a while and I didn't think I had energy to shop and cook). So we got home and I walked inside with my wonderful hubby. When we got in the front room I could smell dinner! I was so impressed! Spencer has never cooked for me before so I was dang excited. As I walked into the kitchen, I could hear music playing (Josh Groban and the likes) and I saw tea-lights everywhere! It was so cute how much he put together for me. When we started to eat, he came up to me and said, "Happy I love you day," and gave me a kiss. He spent the rest of the night (the whole 2 hours before I had to go to bed at 10) pampering me. He's so wonderful.

These are the pictures of the fish tank I meant to put up with the first post. We've lost a few more fish since then, but oh well.

Can I just say that I HATE midterms? They are much worse than finals. Midterms are often just as difficult as finals, but you're still expected to be in class and you don't have the sympathy of others when you say, "oh, I have finals." They just don't have the same connotation. It's awful.

Well, if you can't tell the last two weeks have been a very long to weeks for the both of us. We've literally been drowning in homework. I had a 10-15 page single spaced paper due for my religion class last week. I got it done, but I had to pull an all-nighter to do it and now I'm sick. I hate this game. I feel like I'm starting to fall behind in everything and that really panics me. Luckily, I have Spencer who helps me come back to earth. We're slowly recovering from the last little bit, but I begin to think it'll be like this till the end of the semester.

I did have liberating experience just the other day though... I applied for Graduation! Yeah! I will be a college graduate in April of 2009! Hurray! I am so ready to be done with school. Hopefully, I can find a job teaching and have fun on the other side of things in school. We'll just have to wait and see! Well, it's bed time and my head is throbbing. Until next time, au revoir!

So, I'm not much of a blogger, but I was told this is a "Married Person" thing to do.  Man, married people must have a hard time keeping up with their friends or something.  Just kidding.

Well, Spencer and I have loved life so far.  We have been trying to figure out how to multi-task school, work, and home-life.  We're not even all the way moved in yet.  Our office is cluttered with boxes waiting to be sorted through... ah well, that's what Thanksgiving's for, right?

We were able to salvage my old fish tank a couple of weeks ago.  I was feeling sad that it wasn't possible to take care of Rico, so Spencer and I decided to find a "low-maintenance" pet.  Let's just say that getting the fish tank to be clear again wasn't exactly low-maintenance, but thanks to long gloves, vinegar, a high pressure hose and holding my breath, it's finally unclouded by that filthy green muck again. It's been fun to have a pet to come home to.  We have a bunch of different species and they have their own personalities.  We've only had a few casualties so far.  One was our leper fish... yes, it was literally falling apart.  We watched his tail disintegrate day by day... it was truly disgusting.  I felt sorry for this little guy and almost euthanized him, but ironically 3 other fish died before he did.  Most of the fish that died were from Lizi... she set up a date where the fish raced each other and then those who survived were moved to my tank.  Let's just say, trauma can be very deadly.

Anyhow, other than that, Spencer and I are just trying to keep our heads above water in school.  I'm so glad to be in my last year.  I'm not nearly as stressed about my grades.  This is a break through for me ya know.  This also means I've been able to develop my homemaking skills.  They're definitely still growing, but the kitchen hasn't burned down yet, so I think I'm doing pretty well.  Honestly though, I've discovered I really love cooking.  It's therapeutic for me.  The problem is I make all these fun things and that takes up time I usually spent at the gym.  Hopefully as I get better at cooking, I'll get faster too.... hopefully this happens before all of my clothes don't fit anymore. :)  Feel free to ever send me your favorite recipes!  I'm getting quite a good collection. :)
